When the office is closed, calling (210) 657-0220 will connect you to our answering service. A nurse who is trained to give telephone advice will be immediately available to answer your questions. If needed, the nurse will page the doctor on call to further assist you. Our answering service is unable to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments. We are happy to handle these issues for you during normal business hours.
If the doctor or nurse on call recommends seeking emergency care, we suggest visiting one of San Antonio's 3 pediatric emergency rooms: North Central Baptist Hospital, Methodist Children's Hospital or Children's Hospital of San Antonio.
Because we firmly believe in continuity of care and patient convenience, we offer a weekend clinic at our Village Drive location for sick appointments only. Our electronic health records provide us full access to your child's chart at this time. Services not provided on weekends include: walk-ins, ADHD prescriptions, well visits/physicals, routine vaccinations, new patient visits, routine school forms, mediation forms or FMLA paperwork.
